The Ballad of 416

Fire on the rails
Hell's falling hail
Smoldering pines
Under a smothering sky
Red burning eyes
Chinooks on the rise
Heroes and pain
When will there ever be rain?
You know we'll always love you
All the San Juan kneels to pray
No matter how you love us
Some debts still hurt when they're paid
Ashes and steam
Black and new green
Mustard smoke screen
Moonscape where Aspen should be
Fire on the rails
Hell's falling hail
Smoldering pines
Under a smothering sky
You know we'll always love you
All the San Juan kneels to pray
No matter how you love us
Some debts still hurt when they're paid
You know we'll always love you
Don't let us down this way
No matter how you love us
Some debts still hurt when they're paid paid

Look at Paco, his workload’s dire
He keeps on saying he's gonna retire
But all his life he's worked so hard
Back in the kitchen, out in the yard
Breaking stone walls, building a barn
Brewing his beer, and selling his cheer
Yeah, he says he's gonna retire
I'll believe it when I see it.
CHORUS
Mmm, yeah, right. I'll believe it when I see it
I call Bullshit. I'll believe it when I see it.
Jealous Joe, this guy I know
Head over heels for Fast-buck Flo
Years would come and years would go
Get him hot and leave him cold
Now he reckons he's had enough
I'm here today to call his bluff
Sure he says he's had enough
I'll believe it when I see it
There’s a guy I know too well
Says his traveling life is hell
Out on the road dozens of shows
Where was the last town? Nobody knows
Now he says he just might quit
Maybe slow down after one more stint
Yeah, like he's really gonna quit it.
I'll believe it when I see it.
If you know someone goes on and on
Bout how their gonna right that wrong
Just remember this little song
Get all your friends to sing along

So sing whatever, 'til you learn the words
Getting home on time, that’s for the birds
Kiss 'til ya can’t feel the rain
And please, please dance 'til you miss your train
Dance 'til you miss your train
Who knows what might be around the bend
I’m just a man of Kent and I could be your friend
uh-huh, uh-huh
All squeezed in tight on a steamy night
Cider’s flowing, and they’re pulling pints
Who knows when we’ll be back again
So please, please dance til you miss your train
Dance til you miss your train
Who knows what lies around that bend
I’ve got a good intent and I could be your friend
uh-huh, uh-huh
This party’s sweeping all over town
From busking on a barge to the castle grounds
But we're all here till the last refrain
So please, please dance 'til you miss your train
Dance 'til you miss your train
Who know what lies around that bend
I've got a good intent and I could be your friend
Uh-huh, uh-huh
Please, please
Dance 'til you miss your train
Dance 'til you miss your train
Dance 'til you miss your train...

Track Dogs Madrid, Spain
Track Dogs are an acoustic four piece based in Spain but hail from Ireland, the US and UK.
Taking their name from the NY subway maintenance teams this closely-knit group of ex-pats have opted for Cajón instead of drums and trumpet in place of electric guitar. Four-part harmonies steal the show.
